Raised in Sweden, Faye Wikner moved to Tennessee in her late teens, and currently resides in New Jersey.
She completed her bachelor’s degree at Sewanee: The University of the South, and later on her master's in creative and professional writing at William Paterson University of New Jersey, where she now teaches Intro to Creative Writing. She is the Associate Editor at Map Literary and reads prose for The Adroit Journal. Stories about the eeriness of girlhood, mundane magics, and lush, rural landscapes are her favorite. When not writing, you can find her listening to frogs in her backyard or retrieving her cat from the kitchen trash can.
